Glendale Technology High School is running The Harman Cup this year on Friday 20th September in memory of Koen Harman - much loved, respected and dearly missed friend and colleague at GTHS. The event is in its fifth year and will be held out of school for the first time in the local community. The event will consist of two games of soccer at Jack McLaughlin Oval Edgeworth - Year 6 Combined Partner Primary Schools V's Year 7 GTHS and also Year 12 GTHS V's GTHS Staff. Gates open around 4:30pm with the first game to kick off at 5pm and the second game to start around 7pm.
The night and week leading up to the event (including activities, fundraisers and welfare initiatives attached to The Harman Cup), are aimed at raising funds and awareness of/towards the following charities under the banner of The Harman Scholarship at GTHS:
- Kaleidoscope at JHH
- The Nicholas Butters Trust
