At Glendale Technology High School we take great pride in recognising our students achievements in all areas.
AIM Excellence - The AIM program issues each student a score based on how they have demonstrated the school’s values. These scores are published to parents as students are encouraged to strive for the highest score.
DUX - The highest award a school can bestow on a student is the overall award for academic excellence.
Principal Honour Roll - Awarded to the student in each Year group 7-11 who has achieved the highest academic result based on their yearly reports.
Over and Above - Presented to students at any time when they perform an act over and above their normal behavious. Students are recognised by a letter from the teacher and the Principal.
Vina Chubb Award - Recognises a Stage 4 student who has overcome challenges and demonstrated their personal best. A student who has participated in one of the mentoring programs to help them reach their potential and has shown they achieve great things with some encouragement.
Matt Ford Scholarship - Awarded to a Year 10 Industrial Arts student that has shown commitment and dedication to their work throughout the year.
Hayley Crawford Award - Presented to a senior student who displays leadership, sportsmanship, excellence and achievement in their chosen sport to the highest level.
Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards - Students can achieve Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards through their AIM scores or the collection of Values Awards (Respect, Responsibility, Personal Best). Platinum Awards are only achieved through the collection of Values Awards.
